Salary Range: $48,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoices, customer billing, and collections.
  • Process payroll, including timecard verification, deductions, and related tax filings.
  • Perform monthly bank, credit card, and other account reconciliations.
  • Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate classification of all financial transactions.
  • Prepare basic financial statements such such as Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
  • Assist with inventory costing and reconciliation processes specific to manufacturing.
  • Track and reconcile fixed assets and associated depreciation schedules.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proficiency in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and fundamental manufacturing accounting concepts.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and ERP systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive bank, vendor, and inventory reconciliations.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with cost accounting principles (e.g., inventory valuation, COGS).
  • Proficiency with ERP systems common in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Familiarity with inventory management and reconciliation processes.
  • Experience tracking and depreciating fixed assets.
