Salary Range: $65,000 - $98,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs, production variances, and inventory valuation.
• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning specific to production volumes and costs.
• Prepare detailed financial reports focusing on Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), gross margin, and operational efficiency for manufacturing plants.
• Conduct profitability analysis by product line, customer, and plant, identifying key drivers and areas for improvement.
• Support capital expenditure (CAPEX) requests by performing financial modeling, ROI analysis, and post-implementation reviews for manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, inventory turns, and working capital within manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with operations, production, and supply chain teams to understand cost drivers and identify cost reduction opportunities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and their application in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience analyzing production costs, inventory valuation, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) in a manufacturing setting.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing-specific ERP modules (e.g., SAP PP, MM, QM)
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for operational reporting
• Understanding of supply chain finance concepts
• SQL proficiency for extracting and analyzing operational data directly from manufacturing systems
