Salary Range: $77,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes for production, technical, and administrative staff.
  • Oversee employee relations, including grievance resolution, disciplinary actions, and conflict management within the manufacturing plant.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and ensure compliance with labor laws and manufacturing-specific regulations (e.g., OSHA).
  • Administer compensation, benefits, and performance management programs tailored to a diverse manufacturing workforce.
  • Lead workforce planning initiatives and manage staffing levels to support production demands and shift schedules.
  • Collaborate with EHS to promote a strong safety culture, manage workers' compensation claims, and ensure a healthy work environment.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate development programs for skills enhancement and operational efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise across core HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compensation & benefits.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including OSHA compliance relevant to manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and foster a positive, productive work environment.
  • Experience developing and implementing HR policies and strategies tailored to a production setting, focusing on engagement and retention.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Understanding of Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 Hour certification (General Industry).
  • Fluency in a second language common among the manufacturing workforce (e.g., Spanish).
  • Experience with multi-site HR operations.
