Operations Manager | Whitehall, MI

Salary Range: $103,000 - $150,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Oversee production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of safety and productivity.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
• Manage operational budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and control expenditures.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and quality control systems.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate diverse production teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Familiarity with automation technologies and Industry 4.0 principles
