Quality Supervisor | Grandville, MI

Salary Range: $71,000 - $100,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily quality control operations and personnel.
• Ensure products meet specified quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
• Investigate and resolve product non-conformances, root causes, and customer quality complaints.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures and work instructions.
• Provide training and mentorship to quality inspectors and production staff on quality protocols.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes for quality improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment, including supervisory experience.
• Proficient understanding and application of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems.
• Demonstrated experience with quality tools such as SPC, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and root cause analysis.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and interact with other departments.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification or equivalent
• Experience with quality modules within a major ERP system (e.g., SAP QM, Oracle SCM Quality)
