Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Perform welding operations using various techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) on different materials.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure quality, adherence to specifications, and structural integrity.
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components according to design.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of PPE.
• Clean and prepare welding surfaces and work areas before and after operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in common welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick/SMAW).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Demonstrated adherence to safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Physical dexterity, stamina, and ability to work in various positions and lift heavy objects.
• AWS (American Welding Society) certification or equivalent professional welding certification.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with TIG or orbital welding processes.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and basic fabrication (cutting, fitting, grinding).
• AWS D1.1 or other specialized welding certifications.
• Experience operating forklifts or overhead cranes.
