Salary Range: $86,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans and policies to support manufacturing operations.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for raw materials, components, and MRO items, ensuring competitive pricing and quality.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost efficiencies and favorable agreements.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with production planning to ensure timely material availability while minimizing holding costs.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal departments.
• Oversee the procurement process, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive purchasing experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
• Proven expertise in vendor negotiation, contract management, and strategic sourcing.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong analytical skills for cost optimization.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for strategic analysis and process optimization.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in global sourcing and international supply chain management.
