Salary Range: $70,000 - $104,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis for product defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
• Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Manage the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for new products.
• Analyze quality data using statistical methods to identify trends and process variations.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce scrap.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing).
• 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, 8D).
• Strong understanding and application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings, apply GD&T, and utilize metrology equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience with QMS integration within ERP systems (e.g., SAP QM)
• Familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g., automation, Industry 4.0)
