Salary Range: $53,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise dimensional inspections of manufactured parts using a variety of metrology equipment.
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot measurement tools and equipment, including CMMs, calipers, and micrometers.
- Develop, program, and execute CMM inspection routines for complex geometries.
- Document inspection results, maintain calibration records, and generate quality reports.
- Ensure all metrology activities comply with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements.
- Analyze measurement data to identify trends, potential issues, and support root cause analysis.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating and programming various metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators, calipers, micrometers).
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Solid understanding of measurement principles, calibration processes, and basic statistical analysis for quality control.
- Experience with metrology software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso) and data collection systems.
- Technical degree or certification in metrology, quality assurance, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
Bonus Qualifications
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for model interpretation and measurement planning.
- Experience with programming automated measurement routines (e.g., CMM scripting, vision system programming).
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies and software.
- Prior experience in an internal calibration lab or with instrument calibration.
