Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
  • Create and maintain detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to machinery, materials, and processes.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring manufacturability and smooth production ramp-up.
  • Implement Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate, select, and justify new manufacturing equipment and technologies.
  • Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and jigs to enhance production capabilities.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on process improvement and optimization.
  • Proven proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for tooling, fixture, and process layout design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and implement efficient manufacturing solutions.
  • Ability to manage projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Experience with PLC programming and HMI development (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens)
  • Proficiency in advanced simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim, SolidWorks Simulation)
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and IoT integration
