Maintenance Technician | Caledonia, MI

Salary Range: $47,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and execute corrective maintenance.
• Install, commission, and troubleshoot new production machinery and ancillary equipment.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Conduct precision adjustments and calibrations to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical (up to 480V), hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for diagnostics and basic programming.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and experience with preventative maintenance programs.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Certification or experience with HVAC systems.
