Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and complex calibrations of various measurement and test equipment.
  • Document calibration activities, results, and maintain comprehensive calibration records.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust instruments to meet specified tolerances and standards.
  • Manage and maintain calibration standards, ensuring their accuracy and traceability.
  • Develop, review, and update calibration procedures and work instructions.
  • Schedule and coordinate calibration events to minimize impact on production operations.
  • Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and calibration specifications.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Metrology, Electronics, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience in calibration, instrumentation, or a precision measurement environment.
  • Proficiency with various test and measurement equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, pressure calibrators, temperature baths).
  • Solid understanding of metrology principles, measurement uncertainty, and traceability.
  • Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO/IEC 17025 or ANSI/NCSL Z540.1.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills for data interpretation and error analysis.

Bonus Qualifications

  • ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) or other relevant professional certification.
  • Proficiency with calibration management software (e.g., IndySoft, GageTrack, Beamex).
  • Experience with advanced metrology techniques (e.g., RF, optical, high-vacuum).
  • Ability to perform minor repairs and troubleshooting on test and measurement equipment.
