Bookkeeper / Office Manager | Otsego, MI

Salary Range: $53,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full cycle accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll, including timecard verification and related tax filings.
  • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and expense reporting.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) and ad-hoc reports for management.
  • Oversee general office administration, including supply procurement and equipment maintenance.
  • Provide HR administrative support, including new hire onboarding and maintaining employee records.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for office services, repairs, and facility support.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proficiency in general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
  • Demonstrated experience with QuickBooks Desktop/Online and/or ERP systems.
  • Proven ability to manage office operations, including administrative support, vendor relations, and supply procurement.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, understanding of operational financial flows.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with a manufacturing ERP system (e.g., SAP, Epicor, NetSuite).
  • Knowledge of inventory accounting principles in a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience supporting HR functions, especially payroll, in a production setting.
  • Familiarity with OSHA or other manufacturing safety regulations.
