Salary Range: $51,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Kalamazoo seeking Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and matching to purchase orders.
• Prepare and execute timely vendor payments via checks, ACH, or wire transfers.
• Generate and distribute customer invoices for manufactured goods and services.
• Accurately apply incoming customer payments to outstanding invoices.
• Conduct collection activities for overdue customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable and receivable.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience performing full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Proficiency with large ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Demonstrated experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong reconciliation skills for vendor statements, customer accounts, and general ledger.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with specific manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O)
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory management
• Experience with multi-currency transactions and international payment processing
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements or automation in finance operations
