Salary Range: $61,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA).
• Conduct regular EHS inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures specific to manufacturing operations.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures to reduce recurrence.
• Provide comprehensive EHS training to employees on topics such as lockout/tagout, chemical safety, and emergency response.
• Manage hazardous waste streams, including proper storage, labeling, and disposal documentation.
• Maintain accurate EHS records, permits, and reports for regulatory compliance and internal performance tracking.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
• 3-5 years of EHS experience, specifically within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state/local EHS regulations applicable to manufacturing.
• Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs (e.g., LOTO, confined space, hazardous waste).
• Proficiency in conducting EHS audits, inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to EHS processes.
• Proficiency with advanced EHS management software or data analytics tools for trend analysis and reporting.
• HAZWOPER certification or specialized experience in hazardous waste management and emergency response.
• Demonstrated experience participating in or leading OSHA VPP (Voluntary Protection Programs) initiatives.
