Salary Range: $81,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities and manage Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions.
• Drive root cause analysis (e.g., 8D methodology) and implement effective corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
• Develop, maintain, and ensure adherence to Process FMEAs, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.
• Conduct internal IATF 16949 system and process audits, including Layered Process Audits (LPAs).
• Monitor key quality performance indicators and lead continuous improvement projects to enhance product and process quality.
• Support customer quality audits and ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and quality standards.
• Manage Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies and ensure calibration compliance for critical measurement equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Deep knowledge and practical application of IATF 16949 standards and automotive core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
• Proven experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
• Experience conducting internal and/or external IATF 16949 audits, with auditor certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control techniques within a production environment.
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis for quality improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience with VDA standards and methodologies (e.g., VDA 6.3)
• Proficiency in statistical software such as Minitab or JMP
• Certified Lead Auditor (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
