Salary Range: $88,000 - $134,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop floor operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
• Manage and lead a team of production staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and motivation.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations, quality control standards, and housekeeping procedures.
• Monitor and control inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Optimize resource allocation, including machinery, tools, and personnel, to maximize productivity.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and waste.
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, scrap rates, and labor hours.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes and workflows.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, manage, and develop a team of shop floor employees.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities to ensure efficient production scheduling, resource allocation, and timely delivery.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Knowledge of quality control principles and experience in implementing and maintaining quality standards.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting, with a commitment to fostering a safe working environment.
