Salary Range: $66,000 - $99,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop floor operations to ensure production targets are met.
• Manage and mentor production staff, including scheduling, performance reviews, and training.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Monitor production quality and implement corrective actions for defects.
• Maintain and troubleshoot machinery, coordinating repairs as needed.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods within the shop.
• Collaborate with management on production planning and resource allocation.
• Enforce company policies and procedures on the shop floor.

Recommended Qualifications

• - Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of production processes.
• - Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, including the ability to motivate and guide a workforce.
• - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in troubleshooting production issues.
• - Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees, management, and other departments.
• - Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
• - Experience with predictive maintenance technologies
• - Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD software
• - First Aid and CPR certification
