Salary Range: $70,000 - $104,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the daily operations of the shop floor, ensuring efficient workflow and production targets are met.
• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of shop floor employees, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards on the shop floor.
• Manage inventory of materials and tools, coordinating with procurement and logistics as needed.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain equipment and machinery, scheduling routine maintenance and repairs to ensure operational readiness.
• Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and finished goods to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering, planning, and other departments to resolve production-related challenges and improve processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and quality control standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues, implement solutions, and optimize workflow for efficiency.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and production schedules.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
• - Experience with preventative maintenance scheduling
• - Proficiency in basic CAD software for layout or tool design
• - First Aid/CPR certification
