Salary Range: $70,000 - $104,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct the daily operations of the shop floor, ensuring efficient workflow and production targets are met.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of shop floor employees, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards on the shop floor.
- Manage inventory of materials and tools, coordinating with procurement and logistics as needed.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain equipment and machinery, scheduling routine maintenance and repairs to ensure operational readiness.
- Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and finished goods to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering, planning, and other departments to resolve production-related challenges and improve processes.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and quality control standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues, implement solutions, and optimize workflow for efficiency.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and production schedules.
Bonus Qualifications
- - Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
- - Experience with preventative maintenance scheduling
- - Proficiency in basic CAD software for layout or tool design
- - First Aid/CPR certification
