Salary Range: $55,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Train and mentor shipping and receiving team members on procedures and best practices.
• Manage inventory levels within the warehouse, conducting regular cycle counts and audits.
• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, negotiating rates when applicable.
• Ensure all shipments are properly documented, labeled, and prepared for transit.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the shipping and receiving area.
• Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies or issues related to incoming or outgoing goods.
• Implement and enforce company policies and safety regulations within the department.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a shipping and receiving environment, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in using shipping software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience, including training and motivating team members.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for warehouse operations.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• - Forklift certification and proven ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
• - Familiarity with inventory management software and barcode scanning technology.
• - Basic understanding of customs regulations and international shipping documentation.
