Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for new products.
• Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Assembly (DFA).
• Specify, procure, and validate new equipment, tooling, and fixtures required for NPI.
• Manage and execute pilot production runs, identifying and resolving manufacturing issues.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and BOMs.
• Monitor and improve product yield, quality, and cycle time during the NPI phase.
• Support supplier qualification and manage supplier readiness for new components and processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical) or a related technical field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) or manufacturing engineering within a high-volume production environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and production line optimization.
• Proven project management skills, including driving timelines and coordinating cross-functional teams from design to mass production.
• Experience with root cause analysis, process validation, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with advanced PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems.
• Familiarity with automation, robotics, or additive manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools.
