Salary Range: $73,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to balance demand and capacity.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and supply chain to align production plans and material availability.
• Monitor inventory levels of finished goods and raw materials, adjusting schedules to meet targets.
• Analyze demand forecasts and make proactive adjustments to the MPS to optimize resource utilization.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and material shortages to ensure smooth production flow.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and forecast accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement in scheduling processes and systems for enhanced efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive experience (5+ years) in master scheduling, production planning, or supply chain planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for master production scheduling, capacity planning, and demand forecasting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and optimize production schedules.
• Demonstrated expertise in demand forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory management techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interface effectively with production, sales, procurement, and logistics teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
• Proficiency with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software beyond standard ERP
• Experience with advanced data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• APICS CSCP certification or advanced modules of CPIM
