Salary Range: $82,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality assurance programs.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor supplier performance through key quality metrics and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Review and approve supplier documentation, including inspection plans and certificates of analysis.
• Manage incoming material inspection processes and disposition non-conforming materials.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) processes to ensure supplier readiness and capability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in supplier quality management, auditing, and development within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and relevant industry standards.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective supplier relationship management.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting to identify trends and drive continuous improvement in supplier performance.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software and techniques.
• - Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and their application to supplier quality.
• - Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• - Experience with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
• - Knowledge of various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, stamping, electronics assembly).
