Salary Range: $82,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supplier quality assurance programs.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor supplier performance through key quality metrics and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Review and approve supplier documentation, including inspection plans and certificates of analysis.
- Manage incoming material inspection processes and disposition non-conforming materials.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
- Participate in new product introduction (NPI) processes to ensure supplier readiness and capability.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in supplier quality management, auditing, and development within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and relevant industry standards.
- Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective supplier relationship management.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting to identify trends and drive continuous improvement in supplier performance.
Bonus Qualifications
- - Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software and techniques.
- - Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and their application to supplier quality.
- - Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- - Experience with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
- - Knowledge of various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, stamping, electronics assembly).
