Salary Range: $86,000 - $132,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor Green Belts and project teams in the application of Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Identify, define, and prioritize potential Six Sigma projects to address critical business needs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Drive the execution of complex, cross-functional improvement projects from initiation to closure, utilizing DMAIC or DMADV frameworks.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes to identify root causes of defects, waste, and inefficiencies using statistical tools and techniques.
  • Develop and implement sustainable solutions to eliminate process variations and improve product quality and yield.
  • Facilitate data-driven decision-making and champion a culture of continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing organization.
  • Measure, monitor, and report on project progress, key performance indicators, and the financial impact of implemented solutions.
  • Train and coach manufacturing personnel on Six Sigma principles and tools to foster broader adoption and capability.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and completing complex Six Sigma projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • Deep understanding of statistical analysis tools and methodologies relevant to manufacturing processes (e.g., DOE, SPC, Hypothesis Testing).
  • Extensive experience in identifying, analyzing, and eliminating manufacturing process defects and inefficiencies.
  • Strong leadership and team facilitation skills with the ability to mentor Green Belts and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing operations, including production planning, quality control, and supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sustainable process improvements that result in measurable cost savings and quality enhancements.

Bonus Qualifications

  • - Experience with advanced statistical software beyond Minitab (e.g., JMP, R, Python for data analysis).
  • - Lean Manufacturing expertise and certifications.
  • - Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., pharmaceutical, aerospace).
  • - Proven ability to mentor and train Green Belts and operational staff.
  • - Strong project management experience with a track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives.
