Salary Range: $83,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance plans and procedures for suppliers.
• Conduct supplier audits to assess their quality systems and compliance with standards.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues and deviations.
• Collaborate with suppliers to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Review and approve supplier documentation, including PPAPs and control plans.
• Qualify new suppliers and ensure they meet manufacturing and quality requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with key suppliers.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in supplier quality management, auditing, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949) and relevant industry standards.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, and GD&T.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Experience with supplier selection, qualification, and performance monitoring.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software and advanced data analysis techniques.
• - Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• - Knowledge of international quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485, IATF 16949) relevant to the specific industry.
• - Certification in quality auditing (e.g., ASQ CQE, ASQ CQA).
• - Experience with supplier development programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
