Key Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust manufacturing presses according to job specifications and blueprints.
• Operate various presses safely and efficiently to produce quality parts.
• Perform in-process quality checks using measurement tools and gauges, making necessary adjustments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions or production issues.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and production schedules.
• Conduct routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on press equipment.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with manufacturing machinery.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform minor adjustments or maintenance on equipment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in reading complex technical drawings, schematics, or GDT (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting beyond routine operator tasks.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) or other advanced quality assurance techniques.
