Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain welding equipment according to safety and operational guidelines.
- Perform welding operations using various techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) to join metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine required welds and procedures.
- Inspect and test welds for quality, integrity, and adherence to standards, making necessary adjustments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve welding issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare metal surfaces for welding, including cleaning, grinding, and deburring.
- Follow established safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of welding activities, materials used, and quality control checks.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in welding is a plus.
- Proven experience with various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Cored) in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining welding equipment and associated tools.
- Knowledge of metallurgy and understanding of different metal types and their weldability.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices related to welding.
Bonus Qualifications
- - Experience with robotic welding systems
- - Certified welding inspector (CWI) designation
- - Proficiency in advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) methods
