Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain welding equipment according to safety and operational guidelines.
• Perform welding operations using various techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) to join metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine required welds and procedures.
• Inspect and test welds for quality, integrity, and adherence to standards, making necessary adjustments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve welding issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Prepare metal surfaces for welding, including cleaning, grinding, and deburring.
• Follow established safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of welding activities, materials used, and quality control checks.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in welding is a plus.
• Proven experience with various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Cored) in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining welding equipment and associated tools.
• Knowledge of metallurgy and understanding of different metal types and their weldability.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices related to welding.

Bonus Qualifications
