Salary Range: $51,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Lansing seeking Calibration Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine calibration and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning calibration equipment and instrumentation.
• Document calibration results, maintain accurate records, and generate calibration certificates.
• Develop and implement calibration procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve measurement-related issues.
• Select and utilize appropriate test equipment and measurement standards for various calibration tasks.
• Analyze calibration data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, metrology, mechanical engineering technology)
• 2+ years of experience in calibration, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and test accuracy ratios (TAR/TUR)
• Proficiency in using and calibrating a wide range of measurement equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, pressure gauges, multimeters, temperature sensors)
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and calibration procedures
• Basic computer skills for data entry, report generation, and using calibration management software

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with automated calibration systems.
• ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) certification.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements.
• Proficiency in using statistical process control (SPC) software for data analysis.
