Salary Range: $52,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Battle Creek seeking Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, including matching purchase orders and resolving discrepancies.
• Manage accounts receivable by preparing invoices, posting payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues or discrepancies.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
• Generate and analyze AR aging reports, identifying trends and potential risks.
• Collaborate with purchasing and production teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and fundamental accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with vendors, customers, and internal departments.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
• Familiarity with the manufacturing industry's specific invoicing and payment terms
• Certification in Accounts Payable (e.g., CAPA) or Accounts Receivable (e.g., CARA)
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., advanced Excel, Power BI)
• Ability to communicate in Spanish or other languages common in manufacturing workforces
