Value Stream Manager | Whitehall, MI

Salary Range: $106,000 - $154,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Whitehall region seeking Value Stream Managers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize end-to-end value stream from raw material to customer delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve key performance indicators for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Foster a culture of problem-solving and associate engagement within the value stream.
• Manage and mentor a team of direct reports, including production supervisors and engineers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and supply chain to align value stream activities with business objectives.
• Oversee budget and resource allocation for the assigned value stream.
• Implement visual management systems to monitor performance and drive accountability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience implementing and sustaining Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at all levels.
