Salary Range: $109,000 - $158,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Muskegon that are seeking skilled Value Stream Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and optimize value streams to eliminate waste and improve flow.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve performance targets and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for value stream transformation, aligning with overall business objectives.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, identify deviations, and drive corrective actions.
• Champion Lean principles and tools across the value stream, including Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, and Visual Management.
• Manage resource allocation and budget for value stream activities, ensuring efficient utilization.
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers to understand requirements and optimize the end-to-end value chain.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in Lean manufacturing principles and their practical application (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S).
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve measurable results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to inform decisions.
