Warehouse Manager | Grand Haven, MI
Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Grand Haven that are seeking skilled Warehouse Managers. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Develop and implement inventory control strategies to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Manage and mentor warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
- Optimize warehouse layout and material flow to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to synchronize operations and meet demand.
- Implement and manage warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and streamline processes.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and drive operational excellence.
Recommended Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize warehouse layouts, material flow, and space utilization.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations (OSHA) and quality control standards in a manufacturing warehouse setting.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with automated warehouse systems (AS/RS, AGVs).
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like SAP EWM, Oracle WMS, or Manhattan Associates.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- OSHA 30-hour General Industry certification.
