Salary Range: $67,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Jenison that are seeking Warehouse Managers. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.
- Develop and implement warehouse procedures and policies to optimize efficiency, safety, and inventory accuracy.
- Manage and mentor a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, conducting regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality control departments to ensure seamless material flow and on-time delivery.
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all company safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse management within a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience with inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP)
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse personnel
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing warehouse setting
- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification preferred
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with automated warehouse systems (e.g., AS/RS, AGVs).
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
- Proficiency in using advanced WMS features for data analysis and optimization.
- Project management experience, particularly with facility upgrades or new technology implementation.
- OSHA 30-hour certification for General Industry.
