Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and optimize advanced X-Ray and CT inspection techniques for complex industrial components.
  • Analyze intricate scan data, providing detailed dimensional metrology and defect analysis reports.
  • Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to push the boundaries of NDT applications.
  • Provide expert technical support to clients and assist in developing custom inspection solutions.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and calibration of high-resolution NDT equipment.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and best practices within the lab.

Recommended Qualifications:

  • ASNT NDT Level II certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) and/or Computed Tomography (CT) with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Expert-level proficiency with a wide range of industrial X-Ray and CT hardware and software platforms.
  • Strong background in metrology principles and dimensional analysis from CT data.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage projects, and communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Commitment to relocating to Michigan for a challenging and rewarding career.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ASNT NDT Level III certification.
  • Experience with reverse engineering using CT data.
  • Knowledge of GDT&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Prior experience in an R&D or advanced applications role within NDT.
