Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform NDT inspections using advanced X-Ray and Computed Tomography (CT) systems.
  • Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results accurately according to industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Set up, calibrate, and maintain NDT equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to develop and optimize inspection techniques.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all company and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide expert analysis and consultation on material quality and integrity issues.

Recommended Qualifications:

  • ASNT NDT Level II certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) and/or Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Proven experience operating high-end X-Ray/CT inspection equipment.
  • Strong understanding of material science and defect mechanisms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in an autonomous and self-directed environment.
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to relocate to Michigan.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional NDT Level II certifications (e.g., UT, PT, MT).
  • Experience in a 3rd party inspection laboratory setting.
  • Prior experience with a variety of industrial components (e.g., automotive, aerospace, medical).
  • Strong computer proficiency, especially with data analysis and reporting software.
