Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for general employee inquiries, providing accurate information or directing to the appropriate HR team member.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, both digital and physical, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Assist with the full recruitment lifecycle, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding processes, including orientation, paperwork completion, and system access.
- Support benefit administration tasks, such as enrollment assistance and answering basic questions.
- Assist with payroll support activities, ensuring data accuracy for processing.
- Contribute to positive employee relations by helping to interpret company policies and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of HR reports and presentations as needed.
Recommended Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of progressive experience in a Human Resources role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Solid understanding of basic HR principles and best practices.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, UKG/Kronos, Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting payroll or benefits administration.
- Familiarity with federal and state employment laws.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or working towards one.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels.
