Salary Range: $61,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in a manufacturing environment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions using various testing devices and schematics.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical components to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for installation and repair.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards, national electrical codes (NEC), and company policies.
  • Calibrate and test electrical instruments, control systems, and sensors.
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and execute efficient repairs to restore production.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent industrial electrical license.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting, repairing, and installing industrial electrical systems (e.g., motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs).
  • Strong understanding of national and local electrical codes (e.g., NEC) and safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E).
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for diagnostics and minor programming/modifications.

Bonus Qualifications

  • PLC programming and advanced troubleshooting experience
  • Robotics maintenance and programming familiarity
  • Instrumentation calibration and repair experience
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic control systems
