Salary Range: $44,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Montague region seeking Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Generate and distribute customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with terms.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively follow up on outstanding payments.
• Process customer payments and apply them accurately to outstanding invoices.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable and receivable.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and accounting software.
• Demonstrated ability to reconcile accounts, process invoices, and manage collections.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with vendors and customers.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems specific to manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Familiarity with the procure-to-pay and order-to-cash cycles in a manufacturing environment
• Exposure to inventory management principles as they relate to invoicing and payment
• Basic understanding of cost accounting or job costing in manufacturing
• Ability to analyze vendor and customer accounts for discrepancies related to production schedules or material variances
