Salary Range: $114,000 - $163,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Usual Responsibilities

• Direct daily engineering activities across process, equipment, and continuous improvement work.
• Lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians, setting priorities and performance goals.
• Oversee capital projects from scope and justification through installation and startup.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for production and quality issues.
• Manage engineering budgets, project schedules, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality leaders on cross functional initiatives.
• Report project status and key metrics to plant and operations leadership.

Recommended Qualifications

• Prior experience supervising or leading engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods.
• Experience managing capital projects and budgets.
• Working knowledge of safety and quality management systems.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Several years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Background in regulated industries such as automotive or medical devices.
• Experience with ERP or maintenance management software.
• Professional Engineer license or advanced technical degree.
• Experience with automation, robotics, or controls systems.
• Six Sigma or lean certification.
