Salary Range: $108,000 - $156,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Coopersville that are seeking skilled Value Stream Managers. Key Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and optimize value stream mapping processes to identify and eliminate waste.
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) for the assigned value stream, including safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle within the value stream, from raw material to customer delivery, ensuring efficient flow and responsiveness.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving through coaching, mentoring, and employee engagement.
- Monitor and report on value stream performance, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and sales teams to align value stream activities with overall business objectives.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in Lean manufacturing principles and value stream mapping.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and change management abilities.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
- Experience with simulation software for process modeling.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, AI in manufacturing).
- Proven ability to mentor and develop team members in Lean methodologies.
