Salary Range: $79,000 - $119,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize welding procedures for various manufacturing processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis for welding defects and implement corrective actions.
- Evaluate and select appropriate welding equipment, consumables, and robotic systems.
- Provide technical support and training to welding technicians and manufacturing personnel.
- Collaborate with design engineers to ensure weldability and optimize product design.
- Implement and maintain quality control standards for all welding operations.
- Research and apply new welding technologies to improve efficiency and product quality.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in welding engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) certification or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of various welding processes (e.g., GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SAW) and their application in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Experience with NDT methods and quality control procedures in welding.
