Salary Range: $42,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) to fabricate and repair components according to blueprints and specifications.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to established standards using appropriate measurement tools.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, including power sources, torches, and safety gear.
• Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues, such as equipment malfunctions or material imperfections.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize welding procedures and improve product design for manufacturability.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Document welding activities, including materials used, procedures followed, and inspection results.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in welding or a related field
• AWS D1.1 certification or equivalent
• Proficient in various welding processes (MIG, TIG, STICK)
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
