Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Grand Rapids that are seeking Working Supervisors. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train production line staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Coordinate daily production schedules and assign tasks to team members to meet manufacturing targets.
• Monitor production processes and equipment, performing minor adjustments and reporting maintenance needs.
• Conduct quality control checks on finished products and work-in-progress, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and operational guidelines.
• Provide hands-on support in various production tasks as needed to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, scrap rates, and team performance data.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and motivate team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Forklift certification and experience operating various manufacturing equipment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab)
• Forklift operator certification
