Salary Range: $48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding on various materials and product lines using MIG, TIG, and Stick processes.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine welding requirements and sequence of operations.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including adjusting voltage, amperage, and wire feed speed.
• Conduct quality checks on welded components to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment and machinery to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize welding processes and improve product design.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• AWS Certified Welder (CW) certification or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
• Strong understanding of welding safety protocols and quality control standards

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotic welding systems.
• Proficiency in interpreting complex engineering blueprints and GD&T.
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Certified Welding Educator (CWE) certification.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Basic understanding of metallurgy and material science related to welding processes.
