Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Cadillac that are seeking Manufacturing Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Design, procure, and implement manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) by defining manufacturing requirements and processes.
• Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process specifications.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for yield improvement and scrap reduction.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex manufacturing issues and implement effective solutions.
• Experience managing manufacturing projects from concept to implementation.
• Strong understanding of production systems, quality control, and safety regulations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience with advanced simulation software or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) for manufacturing data
• Experience with robotics and automation integration
