Salary Range: $82,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
• Oversee production planning and scheduling to meet manufacturing targets and customer demand.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of quality materials.
• Lead and mentor the materials team, including purchasing, inventory, and warehousing personnel.
• Implement and maintain robust MRP/ERP systems for accurate material planning and tracking.
• Analyze material usage, forecast demand, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards related to material handling and storage.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management, MRP, and production planning.
• Demonstrated expertise in inventory control, optimization techniques, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to manage teams and vendor relationships effectively.
• Proven ability to develop and execute demand forecasting, production scheduling, and material planning strategies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) for supply chain optimization
• Experience in international sourcing and logistics management
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
