Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement materials management strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee inventory control, ensuring accuracy, optimizing levels, and minimizing obsolescence.
• Manage procurement and sourcing activities, including supplier selection and contract negotiation.
• Lead demand planning, forecasting, and material requirements planning (MRP) processes.
• Optimize warehouse operations and material flow to support production schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for supply chain efficiency and cost reduction.
• Manage and develop the materials management team, including buyers, planners, and warehouse staff.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain leadership within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management, demand planning, and procurement processes.
• Demonstrated expertise in inventory optimization, lean manufacturing principles, and supplier relationship management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a proven ability to lead and develop teams.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project leadership experience
• Proficiency in advanced planning systems (APS) or specific ERP modules (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle SCM)
• Experience with international logistics, customs, and global supplier networks
