Salary Range: $40,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and configure manufacturing equipment for production runs, including tool and die changes.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate precision tooling, fixtures, and components according to job specifications.
• Perform first-article inspections and conduct test runs to ensure product quality and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or technical issues encountered during setup or initial production.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to minimize downtime.
• Document setup procedures, equipment parameters, and maintenance activities accurately.
• Collaborate with production operators and engineers to optimize machine performance and process flow.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments for manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting skills for production machinery.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and performing quality checks.
• Understanding of safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Basic understanding of PLC programming or robotics.
• Experience with CAD software for minor fixture adjustments or review.
• Proficiency in advanced metrology tools such as CMMs or vision systems.
