Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up manufacturing equipment and machinery for production runs.
• Perform precise adjustments, calibrations, and alignments of machinery to meet product specifications.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and obtain quality approval before full production commencement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues, errors, or malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Interpret and apply engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions during the setup process.
• Document all setup parameters, adjustments, and changes accurately for future reference and continuous improvement.
• Ensure all setups comply with safety standards and operational procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Setup Technician or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proven ability to set up, adjust, and troubleshoot production machinery.
• Skilled in using various hand/power tools and precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Understanding of quality control procedures and commitment to safety protocols.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with G-code programming or PLC logic.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software.
• Certifications in specialized areas (e.g., advanced hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics).
