Salary Range: $64,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of quality inspectors and technicians.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001), regulatory standards, and customer specifications.
• Oversee daily quality control operations, including incoming material, in-process, and final product inspections.
• Lead investigations into non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Develop, maintain, and control essential quality documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
• Plan and conduct internal quality audits to assess system effectiveness and compliance.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in quality tools such as SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with a focus on performance and development.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CQA, CSSGB)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience with specific QMS software platforms (e.g., MasterControl, ETQ Reliance, SAP QM)
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Background in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, automotive)
